Rudolph grilled cheese

Holiday meals don’t have to be fancy to feel fun, and these Rudolph grilled cheeses are one of our favorite easy Christmas-time lunches. They take just a few minutes to make, and my kids love them and ask for them on repeat during the holiday season.

Tips

  • Serve these on a Christmas plate or festive tray to make lunch feel extra fun.
  • Pair with simple sides like fruitveggiescrackers, or a little snack plate.
  • My kids love when I sprinkle a few mini marshmallows on the plate for “snow.”
  • Christmas placemat or holiday table runner adds a cute touch to the whole meal.

Why My Kids Love Them

These Rudolph grilled cheeses feel like Christmas in a sandwich. They’re cute, simple, and always get a smile. My kids ask for them over and over during December, and honestly, I don’t mind because they take just minutes to make.

What You’ll Need

How to Make Rudolph Grilled Cheese

Step 1: Make the grilled cheese.
Butter your bread, layer in the cheese, and cook until golden on both sides.

Step 2: Cut into triangles.
Slice the grilled cheese diagonally so you have two triangles. Turn them so the cut side is up and the rounded part points down like Rudolph’s nose.

Step 3: Add the face.
Place chocolate chips at the top of the triangle for Rudolph’s eyes. Add a red M&M at the bottom point as the nose.

Step 4: Add the antlers.
Gently slide pretzel sticks into the top corners of the grilled cheese so they stick out like antlers. They tuck into the bread and stay in place.
