Thanks to the internet, there are lots of ways for stay-at-home moms to make money without needing to be away from their children. In this blog post, we’ll look at seven smart ideas for moms at home to earn extra money.
At first, I didn’t plan on making money while staying at home. But who wouldn’t like some extra money? My husband is great and has always provided for us. I have never felt like I had to “earn” my “own” money. But when I realized I could turn the things I enjoy doing into money, it was an easy decision. It’s like having something that’s just mine and something I can be proud of! It’s also great to be able to contribute financially. My extra income has been like BONUS money we use on the fun stuff and family vacations.

As your blog gains traffic, you can monetize it through methods such as display advertising, sponsored posts, and affiliate marketing. With consistency and dedication, your blog can become a steady source of income while allowing you to share your experiences and insights.

2. Network Marketing with a Reputable Company
Network marketing, when done right, can be an effective way to earn money from home. There are numerous companies out there. Find something you are passionate about or a product you use on the daily and I can almost guarantee there is a network marketing company for that niche. You just need to be careful you weigh your options and get into a reputable company. It’s essential to choose a reputable company with high-quality products that align with your values. Network marketing requires building relationships and leveraging your social circle, making it a suitable option for stay-at-home moms who are skilled at connecting with others.
3. Becoming an Affiliate Marketer
Affiliate marketing involves promoting products or services and earning a commission on every sale made through your unique affiliate link. One shop was wooden signs and the other was a clothing boutique. For both, I used my Silhouette Cameo machine so if you are a fan of your silhouette or Cricut just remember you could be creating things and making a profit!

While not a traditional income source, cashback and rewards platforms like Rakuten and Ibotta can put some extra money in your pocket as you go about your regular shopping. By using these apps, you can earn cash back on purchases from participating retailers and receive discounts on everyday items. Over time, these savings can accumulate, providing you with some additional financial flexibility. Another app I use all the time and earn money just for referring is Instacart. You have to check out Swagbucks! It’s a cool website where you earn points for doing simple stuff like taking surveys, watching videos, and shopping online. Once you collect enough points, you can turn them into gift cards or cash. It’s a fun and simple way to add a little extra to your budget while you take care of your family.
